Franklinton Rising was founded on the belief that every person possesses inherent dignity, purpose, and potential, and that people thrive best when they are supported through meaningful relationships, personal responsibility, opportunity, and hope.
Many individuals living in both economic and relational poverty experience environments where long-term success can feel distant or unrealistic. When stable housing, mentorship, transportation, employment opportunities, and positive support systems are limited, it becomes difficult to envision a different future or trust that lasting change is possible.
Franklinton Rising exists to help change that narrative.

Through construction training, paid apprenticeships, mentorship, job placement, and affordable housing development, we provide young adults with practical pathways toward stability and self-sufficiency. We believe that consistency, accountability, encouragement, and exposure to opportunity can help individuals build confidence, develop discipline, and create a foundation for long-term success.
As a faith-driven organization, our values are rooted in compassion, service, integrity, and the belief that every life has value. For apprentices who are interested, we are also willing to share the hope and principles of the Christian faith that inspire our work and guide our approach to relationships, leadership, and personal growth. Participation in spiritual conversations or faith activities is always voluntary and never a requirement to receive support, training, or employment opportunities through our programs.
Over time, many apprentices develop not only valuable trade skills, but also stronger confidence, healthier relationships, greater personal stability, and a renewed belief that a successful future is attainable.
