Our Board of Directors brings a wealth of experience, insight, and passion to our mission. Each member offers unique expertise from a variety of fields. Together, they guide our vision, ensure accountability, and champion initiatives that create lasting impact. Beyond governance, our board members serve as ambassadors for our cause—building partnerships, opening doors, and inspiring others to join us in making a difference.

Steve Wathen

Steve Wathen is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Equity, where he has grown the firm since its founding in 1987 into a national, full-service commercial real estate platform offering development, brokerage, construction, property management, and asset management services across multiple U.S. markets. He also serves as CEO of Equity Construction Solutions and as Principal and Founder of Equity Velocity Funds, providing leadership across integrated real estate, construction, and private equity operations focused on healthcare, retail, and mixed-use development. Steve is the founder of two non-profits, Youth Aviation Adventure and Franklinton Rising, and serves as board chairman of both. He is also board chairman of the Gainesville Council on Aging and serves on the board of Buckeye State Bank.

Michael Reidelbach

Michael, a board member and organizer at Buckeye State Bank, also serves as founder, treasurer, and board member of Franklinton Rising, Inc., a housing rehabilitation and job training nonprofit. With over 45 years of private sector experience, including a 16-year management career at Corning, Inc., Vice President of Marketing for Richardson-Smith, and President/CEO of Retail Planning Associates. He co-founded and served as President/CEO of American Health Holding, Inc., now owned by Aetna.

Michael holds an Engineering Degree from The Ohio State University and an MBA from Syracuse University. He resides in Delaware County with his wife, former State Representative Linda Reidelbach.

Tom Feusse

Tom Feusse is Chairman of the Board of Directors at Wallick Communities. In that role, he oversees the firm’s Board, participates in its Investment Committee, and, together with Wallick’s other board members and its CEO, formulates the organization’s guiding values and mission. He joined the company in 2005 and served as Wallick’s CEO from 2006 to 2021.

Active in his profession and community, Tom serves on the boards of Huntington University, Goodwill Columbus, Franklinton Rising, and Kellogg Garden Supply. He teaches in the real estate executive education program at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design and is a frequent guest lecturer at the Ohio State University Fisher School of Business.

Before joining Wallick, he spent 19 years at The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company, where he held various leadership roles. He began his career in public accounting at Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

As a lifelong learner, he earned a bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University, a master’s degree from Otterbein College, an abbreviated executive MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School at Northwestern University, and is an alumnus of the executive real estate program at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design. He previously served on the faculty of Ohio Wesleyan University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

A resident of Dublin, he spends time with his family, his church, volunteering, traveling, and on his tennis and golf games when not working.

Tom Feusse

Suzanne Amstutz

After a 35-year career at Ohio Power Tool, Suzanne retired from the family business she ran with her husband. Her responsibilities included daily administrative tasks, managing software and computer systems, HR, and overseeing accounting and financial statement reporting. Before that, she worked as an Executive Secretary at Nationwide Insurance.

Suzanne is actively involved in volunteering for various service organizations and ministries. Currently, she sits on the Advisory Board of the Conway Center for Family Business.

Her greatest blessing is her family, as she is married to Jim with four children and eleven grandchildren.

Bob Apel

Bob Apel is a semi-retired architect and founding partner of Meacham & Apel Architects, now M+A Architects. He uses his 50+ years of experience to provide service to people and groups in need with limited resources.

He is following the example of Bob Buford as laid out in his book, "Halftime."

Adrian Frederick

Adrian Frederick serves as a board member with Franklinton Rising, bringing strong legal and business acumen alongside extensive experience in real estate investment and construction management. He is the CEO of Storied; a real estate investment company focused on home redevelopment for corporate housing and premium short-term rentals. Adrian holds law and MBA degrees from The Ohio State University, as well as a Master of Divinity and a Christian Ministry certification from The King’s University. An ordained minister, he also serves as an Elder at Oasis City Church, where faith and service shape his commitment to people development and community restoration. Adrian has been married for 18 years to Fanee’ Kira, and together they have two children, Adrian II and Alana.
